According to Yahoo News, Syria has already destroyed about a third of its chemical weapons. They have also submitted a plan which will remove all of their chemical weapons from their territory by the end of April, 2014. Shipments that are moved to the Northern Syrian port of Latakia will be transferred to the U.S. ship M.V. Cape Ray. It will then be processed in destruction facilities in Germany and the United Kingdom.
